A few weeks ago, I asked list members for margarines that are free of
gluten, lactose and canola oil. Here is what they said.

Several people suggested Shedd's Willow Run, which is available in
health food stores. I've since tried it and found it to be quite good.
It is also kosher/parve.

Several people said to try Fleishman's corn oil margarine -- the
original, not low fat.

One person, from California, said to try Nucoa margarine.

Another person said to try Mother's margarine.

Several people said to try butter, which is very low in lactose.

Another person from California said to try Saffola. We live in
Massachusetts, and I am not sure it is available here. And a list member
from southern California suggested Hollywood Way. I am also not sure it
that is sold here.

Finally, one person from Canada mentioned The Margarine Page.

Thanks everyone for responding,
Myrna
