My allergist thinks I have an intestinal candida infection, my food and
chemical sensitivities have increased, and he thinks CD is a
possibility. The IgA and endomysial IgA were negative. The IgG was
positive, but I had been on a low, low carbohydrate and partially
gluten-free diet for approx. 1 month when the tests were done. I'm
taking Diflucan and Acidophilus, but because of the yeast problems, I'm
not eating dairy, yeast, sugar, or fruits in addition to gluten. Even
with my allergists referral, I can't see a gastroenterologist until
2/18. Does anyone have information about Candida and CD being related
conditions? This is my first attempt at contacting this support
system. Thanks.
