  I'd be surprised if a card can help here.  I think what you need is
really a repeater (or an active hub?) to split up the distance, or
possibly an STP cable.  10Base-2 co-ax with a bridge to the hub should
work, but that's getting complicated.
  I remember seeing line-of-sight laser repeaters about 10 years back --
cost then was about $20K or so, not worth it for one station.
