I note the smiley, but seriously, Santa Cruz (California) is
probably too cold for this semi-tropical/tropical tree.

Tom:
In some tropical countries it has become naturalized and is in the category
of a "weed tree". The fruit is small, bruises easily, and does not
survive shipping well.
