I have an HP 855C Color Deskjet inkjet printer that has stopped feeding the
paper automatically from either the regular paper tray or the manual sheet
feeder. In order to get a sheet in I have to physically PUSH the paper in
by hand. Unfortunately, this usually causes the page to be mis-aligned.

Anyone have experience with the mechanicals of this printer that can offer
some advice?

I just spent almost two hours taking apart and experimenting with no success.

The ONLY thing that seems to make a difference is to use heavier paper. It
seems 26 lb. paper will just barely work, but anything below that is useless.

Can the rollers be adjusted? I can't find the adjustment anywhere.

TIA

Eric
