  Hope this is on topic...just in case I mailed you privately too.
  I've been looking at LCD projectors too, as we teach
 PC classes here in Idaho.
 First LCDs are very spendy in case you don't know,
  $5000-10,000.
   There's a review of 30 or so models at:

  Also I was at a conference lately and the presenter
had a CTX brand projector. I asked him about it and he said he
bought it because of the price, about $3,000.(haven't checked that)
 It seemed to produce a bright and clear picture on a 8-10ft screen.
