You can buy that in the UK and it does reduce the reaction for me, though
not eliminate it. Its marketted here as being low lactose, but I've assumed
there is a legal definition difference between the US and the UK, as so
called 'fat free' products (which contain tiny amounts) have to be labeled
as 'virtually fat free' here, even if their fat levels are trace.
Not sure I would risk the lactose reduced milk on a child, or consume great
amounts of it, but it sure is useful to be able to use it occasionally.
