hi friends, forest here, been sittin on the side lines here for some time,
thought i'd add my 2 cents worth on the subject of natural wellness. as most
people know, it's more than food that makes us whole and well. i definately
believe in the importance of raw foods but without other physical, mental, and
spiritual balancing factors, the most perfect diet will have limitations.
here's what i think it takes to reach optimum wellness, not an easy task, i'm
still in the beginning stages but am learning lots as i stubbornly plod down
this road alone most of the time. anyway check it out and let me know what
ya'll think. aloha and peace.....forest for earth re-leaf

>From Earth Re-Leaf in Hawaii, here are some factors to consider for health in
all areas of our lives. COPYRIGHT-SEE BELOW

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
INDIVIDUAL FACTORS CONTRIBUTING TO OPTIMUM NATURAL HEALTH
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

INDIVIDUAL BODY
1) ability to live as close to nature as long as possible to obtain quality
water, air, sun, and minerals (and high elevation?)
2) ability to grow, gather, and trade raw food of the highest quality and diversity
3) ability to explore responsible high trust tantric sensual and/or sexual
family bonding
4) ability to exercise regularly for providing food, shelter, transportation,
and entertainment.
5) ability to get adequate rest
6) ability to keep clean and organized
7) ability to fast and/or eat healthier when sick
8) ability to use money less and nature more for livelihood

INDIVIDUAL MIND
1) ability to learn natural survival skills and self-sufficiency to be able to
spend time alone in nature and survive
2) ability to be self-motivated for action and goals
3) ability to sense danger, stressful habits, and patterns and to deal with it
without fear and violence
4) ability to access willpower and attention span
5) ability to adapt to growth and change

INDIVIDUAL SPIRIT
1) ability to tune into and refine instincts and/or intuition
2) ability to understand and reduce karma
3) ability to meditate and explore creative visualization
4) ability to connect body to mind and spirit via yoga, tai chi, etc.
5) ability to expand compassion to include more and more of life and nature
6) ability to be of service to humanity by example and by sharing wisdom and
knowledge of nature
7) ability to move toward transcending polarized thinking

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
SOCIAL FAMILY FACTORS CONTRIBUTING TO OPTIMUM NATURAL HEALTH
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
FAMILY BODY
1) ability to create consensus land trust to access nature
2) ability to create consensus child care
3) ability to get more from nature and less from money; what money is needed
comes from cooperative consensus business in harmony with nature
4) ability to act together with consensus on work projects, noncompetitive
games and entertainment

FAMILY MIND
1) ability to have regular consensus council meetings
2) ability to learn to cooperate more and compete less with each other
3) ability to sense dangers and problems and deal with them as a group in
peaceful non-threatening ways
4) ability to refine communication and language

FAMILY SPIRIT
1) ability to channel intuitive natural harmony through group chanting or singing
2) ability to sit and meditate in silence as a group
3) ability to create consensus ceremonies and rituals
4) ability to be of service to humanity by example and share wisdom and
knowledge of nature

Optimal Independence from hierarchy leads to optimal social interdependence
with consensus. The two main areas overlooked the most by wellness seekers
seem to be access to stable land and tribal extended family.

                            ***** EARTH RE-LEAF*****

Earth re-leaf is a small cooperative consensus organic farm and nature
sanctuary focusing on several areas of refinement including, but not limited to:

1. refining consensus council
2. evolving relationships beyond traditional roles and ownership
3. responsible consensus childcare
4. raw foods, and/or vegan instinctive type diet
5. evolving life and language beyond polarity
6. promoting sovereignty and common-law, peaceful assertive training
7. self-sufficiency, permaculture farming, and cooperative businesses, (using
money less and nature more).
8. land trust
9. spiritual evolution based on a consensus upward mobility degree system;
(using trust, skills, wisdom, knowledge, etc. as ways of defining the degree system).

These are our four foundational council agreements:

1. Start with a short silent period before speaking
2. Everyone given equal uninterrupted 3 minute speaking rotations.
3. Division into groups of 12 or less council speakers.
4. Decisions and actions based on unanimous agreement.

A permaculture fruit and vegetable orchard plus a few small private shelters
and community shelters are situated on one acre of land at 800 feet elevation.
Another wild two acres nearby at 5000 feet elevation have recently been added
for various purposes like growing mainland fruits, additional shelters,
underground meditation, fasting, etc.

We are looking to attract and create a small core group of stable,
self-reliant, charismatic, grounded, country farmer style spiritual pioneers
as a supportive role model or example that grows and divides like a cell into
supportive splinter pods or families. Our simple but fair and powerful unique
council format guarantees freedom from control, co-dependency, and domination
for all those ready and responsible enough to get seriously involved. Call or
SASE with questions. Box 599, Naalehu, Hi. 96772, ph. 808-929-8003, email [log in to unmask]
