Do not buy a Syquest drive if you can even find one. They went out of
business, leaving behind a lot of unhappy customers left holding the bag
when they had defective products. (I think they held about 35% of the
removable drive market) You're right though, everything I heard about the
drives led me to belive they were superior to the Iomega products. Just
another example of the better technology losing out I guess.
Apparently sold their technology to another company, I'm not sure what has
come of that in terms of sales and support.
