Greg,
To be real honest, the words upgrade and Win98 do not belong in the same
sentence. The best thing to do when installing Win98 is to do it from a clean
format of the disk if you can. The upgrade carries the old registry along with
it, and a bloated registry tends to be a huge slowdown.
