There are so many products with milk that you don't suspect... pepperoni,
100% beef hot dogs, most  sausage. You have to be very vigilant. One other
suggestion -- if you travel to another country and see a familiar product,
don't assume it's made the same. A co-worker of my wife has a daughter with
a severe peanut allergy. A well-known food multinational sold potato chips
here in Canada which did not ever use peanut oil. When they stopped in at a
gas bar on a US interstate, they bought potato chips made by the same
company. They had to get off at the next exit and go to a hospital. You can
never be too vigilant.
