This must be the Hall of Fame for Great Americans. No kidding, this was
the *original* Hall of Fame from which all other Halls of Fame are mere
knockoffs, and yes, it's in the Bronx. It went through some bad times
when NYU abandoned the campus, but it's starting to be appreciated again.
I really, really regret not getting to see it when I was in New York last
summer. I meant to, but it was kind of out of the way on each trip into
the city.
There is a fair bit of writing about this Hall of Fame on the web, but
for some reason, I cannot find a list of the honorees anywhere. If anyone
happens to have that list, I'd love to get a copy. It's for my web site,
of course.
