David West wanted me to explain my trivia word of the day and use it in
context:

"You have to make sure your wippen is well balanced so that it will smoothly
bear the upward thrust of the sticker to the jack, otherwise your bridle
will flop causing your hammer to buzz."

I'm sure that there is a construction analogy in there somewhere. To see
