Abatron is being used here in BC lately. It is being billed as the saviour
of all old wood. Some of us would prefer to "wait and see". What's scary is
that this product is sold in paint stores so anyone could pick it up.

My husband and I were told that we should have used this product rather
than replacing  rotten double-hung sash.  We chose to replace the sash with
sound wood which will last for another 95 years.
