I have just talked with Larry Ross (207 474-9841, RFD 2 Box 5130, Canaan,
Maine), the fellow who now owns and has restored the crate as a cottage. He
would be please to hear from any of you who have questions, comments or
materials that will further his quest for details of the history of the
crate. I expect he would be particularly interested in your photos if they
show the crate. Larry's email service is not reliable so give him a call or
correspond on paper.
