Apropos the discussion here on the safety of quinoa and "other" grains,
I'd like to inform non-subscribers about "An Overview of 'Other' Grains",
which was featured in the May/June issue of Gluten-Free Living. As
co-author of the article, with Ann Whelan, editor of the newsletter, I
know the amount of research and work that went into the piece; as a
scientist, I feel it is a valid statement of what we know (and what we
don't know) about "other" grains at this time. Future articles are being
planned.
Due to the interest the article evoked, it has been reprinted. Ann said
she'd be happy to mail a copy to anyone who sends a stamped self-addressed
envelope to: Gluten-Free Living, P.O. Box 105, Hastings-on-Hudson, NY
