In the immortal words of Screaming Jay Hawkins (or Nina Simone, if you
prefer her version)

"I put a spell on you!"

Specifically, from this time forward all your spell checkers will instantly
and unstoppably translate your posts into Urdu. So you'd better disable
their automatic function, and use them with caution.

As to McKim, Mead and White, it is my understanding that Joseph Morrill
Wells used to read their in-house memos aloud for light relief at the
soirees at Saint-Gaudens. Apparently he found their grammar stilted and
overly prescriptive.
