We are creating new professions that cross the boundaries between the old. I
choose to be a preservationist. You choose to be a preservationist. The work
is hard. The hours are long. The training is complex. The applause comes
from each other...as do the rasberries.

I was asked what you guys would think of something I may be forced to do. The
question was posed because my new colleagues already know that ultimately I
don't care much what a Federal Secretary thinks is a standard, but I care very
much what you guys think is excellence.

I think what you do in your long days in the field and short evenings at home
is much more interesting than which side of a line that needs to be erased is
greener.

Its been a rough day, I'm too tired to compete.
