Hi,
I'm relatively new to the list but I am not new to rabbit raising. Don't feed
your rabbits lawn clippings. Lawn grass is neither nutritional complete nor
healthy for rabbits - once it is clipped it quickly becomes moist and bacteria
ridden. The best thing to raise rabbits on is a quality rabbit feed from the
local livestock feed mill and plenty of high nutrient grass hay (such as
Timothy Hay)
Rabbits are one of the most economical sources of meat. They breed very
quickly (30 day gestation) and the young from meat breeds grow very quickly.
Rabbit meat can be raised much more quickly than chicken meat.
Just my two cents : )
