The Mr. Coffee is the model I have. I've done *only* meat with it, and
it works fine.
I tried Han's hamburger recipe a while back. Pay careful attention to
the 1/8 to 1/16 inches instruction. I made the pieces too thick and
ended up feeding them to the dog. With steak, tho, I like the pieces a
little thicker as I like the jerky chewy rather than brittle. But
tastes differ -- my wife likes the thinner, brittle pieces.
