I gave up my favoriets; bread + cheese and musli + sour milk,
altogether in one day (in april) when I realized they were not
good for me. And they were really my main food.
Here in my area (I live 7 min walk + 15 min subway from
the center of the capitol of Sweden, and with the forest
just outside my kitchen window) there is lots of blueberries now
(only wild ones in Sweden). I have also found some raspberries.
I have cheated a few times with *cream* to my blueberries.
I think the best "paleo"-way to eat wild berries is directly
from where the grow into the mouth.
I also dehydrate blueberries, to use instead of raisins.
(They are quite hard when dried so you have to chew cautiously
and they last long).
I have lived for 20 years in a very small community in a remote
part of Sweden, nearly as far north as Ester, so I have an idea
what its like in Your place. (I had a much better house thow).
