Harvey,
The error message "No room for system on destination drive" does not mean
that the disk is full, it means that the special SYSTEM AREA of the disk
is full -- or does not exist.
This error is caused by one of four reasons.
1. The disk was formatted without using the /s command
so there is no system area.
2. There is an incompatible non-DOS system already installed
(stacker maybe?)
3. The hard disk has physical problems.
4. (As John mentioned) you are not actually working with
the "real" drive C: due to some compression techniques.
