I have had a Zip Drive for over two years and I only had the click of death
once. I threw the disk away, so I was never sure if it was correctable or
not. I remember reading somewhere that it was usually caused by leaving A
Zip Disk in a powered off Zip Disk drive. My 2 cents worth.

Subject: [PCBUILD] HARDWARE: Zip or LS-120
Hi,
I need to purchase approximately 100 external storage units for a
client. Something in the 100 Megs. capacity. As near as I can tell
that means either the Iomega Zip or Imation LS-120 drives.
What about the click of death ? Is it overrated ? Has Iomega cleared
up that problem ? Does the LS-120 have a similar flaw ?
Any thoughts ?
