I haven't used a AMD K6 processor, but I'm sure K6 is not fast as PII.  K6 is a
good CPU for general use but not for gamer (at least now).

Even there is no defference runing Quake II on a K6 or a PII, the K6 FPU is
still much slower than PII, which does matter if you'd like to play 3D game.
