Miranda,

I am just the opposite. I usually can handle dairy only while I am
pregnant or nursing.

My nursing daughter is allergic to dairy and does get an awful diaper
rash and spits up often if I take in dairy, along with other foods.
She is now almost 1 year old and I am weaning her to Rice Milk as I am
pregnant again. (She is allergic to soy also.)

Diarreha (sp?) is a symptom of dairy allergy, isn't it group? It also can
be a sign of lactose intolerance.

BTW, could you son have had an allergy to dairy and just outgrow it? Are
there other members in the family with allergies or eczema?

You might want to try sending an email to [log in to unmask] She
has a website, unfortunately I can't find the address of the site, just
her email address. She deals with breastfeeding questions and might be
able to help better.

Good Luck to you, sorry I couldn't help more.

Cindy B.
