My problem is mainly with my fingers. The regimen I use during the dry,
itchy state is as follows: Before bed each night I use a similar technique
of covering the offending fingers heavily with my moisturizing cream, and
then covering the cream with a finger "cot" (or the finger cut from a latex
glove). I then sleep with this on all night. During the day I apply
moisturizer several times, and every time after having my hands in water.
This continues until the episode is over. Looks and sound odd, but it works
for me.
