My son (now 10yo) has always been on 95th percentile for height and weight
- sometimes above that!  His milk allergy was diagnosed on his first
birthday with
anaphylactic reaction to his birthday cake and ice cream.  Still reacts
pretty
strongly (though not that badly) to all milk proteins.  Has had practically
none
since his first birthday.  But then, he's one of those kids that will eat
anything
you put in front of him if he's hungry.  #2 son wanders between 20 and 30
percentile
for weight (50th for height) and he can eat dairy products (but doesn't
much, since
I don't keep them in the house).
