Nope- not if this is a subscription-only list.

What I have observed is a notable increase in inflamatory rhetoric since he
rejoined. I have not jumped on his back, nor have I "taken the hook" that
he so often offers. I believe that he enjoys this level of controversy.
When it's educational, it's worth keeping. When it's inflamatory for little
gain, or when it's down-right nasty, it's time for it to quit.
And simply filtering out his posts isn't enough - one would have to filter
out all inflamed responses to his posts, a much more daunting task.

Most of us have limited disk space and limited time for mail reading. If we
wished to engage in flame-wars, we'd do just fine by participating in one
of the many unmoderated Usenet newsgroups.
I'd just like the signal-to-noise ratio to improve.
