Hello Folks,

I'm the "cow" lady from Non-Dairy:Something to Moo About. We started 17
months ago as a personal homepage to help other parents that have kids
allergic to milk proteins like our daughter. WOW have we learned a lot and
meet so many great people on this adventure. We now have a dedicated group
of medical professionals that act as our advisory board to help insure we
provide safe educational and support information to our 1,000 plus visitors
each month.

We realize that only a small percentage of the families we can serve have
internet access. That's why we are trying to create a larger network of
health professionals to help spread the word about our free education and
support services. We also have a new physician information packet that
includes a basic milk protein allergy patient flyer, a sample dairy
ingredient card and a letter giving details about the educational and
support information we plan to start mailing to medical professionals. In
addition, if we can get funding, our goal is to publish a free newsletter
starting in 1998 to reach our non-internet families.

We would like to ask for your assistance to help us collect the names and
addresses of dietitians, researcher, pediatric specialists, pediatrians,
allergists, professional organizations, insurance providers, health
educators etc. that are open to using dairy-free diets to help treat
various chronic health problems and disorders. It's our hope that by
reaching out to these types of people we can help many more families that
need our clearing house of information and support.

Thanks for helping us help others,

Helen Fernety
