     MD's description of being stuck with no power, heat, etc., was
     wonderful--sounds like lots of fun in the short run, but less so if it
     lasts too long.

     I well remember ice storms in Chicago and feeling kind of immoral for
     thinking how beautiful the ice that was doing terrible damage to the trees
     was.  Also, I work on Louisiana and know those wonderful Creole cottages
     well.  Is Mike in Louisiana?  Actually, it sounds like the house is
     probably being used pretty much as it was intended--especially with the
     fresh venison.

     Hope all is back to normal and everyone has sobered up and is still
     speaking to each other!
