Ok. then, if I sprout them in the hull, and don't put them in dirt,

means I have to pick the hull off of each kernal manually? I don't get
it.
I read about sprouting buckwheat as a breakfast food. that is not
referring to the green shoots I presume, but rather the buckwheat
kernel
itself. am I misunderstanding something?
