Only some cards, non of them ISA, will work with multi-monitors under Win
98. The Virge is one of them, but I don't know about the Trident. During the
beta test there was a list of some 7-odd cards, but I expect that list has grown
now. The best course is to check with the card's manufacturer -- many of their
Websites now carry this information.

On 12 Aug 98, about [PCBUILD] W98: display adapters for multiple moni, Javier Vizcaino <[log in to unmask]> had this to say:

> How can be known which display adapters are admitted for multiple color
> monitor in W98?: -The criteria for it to work. -Any that do work. -Any
> that do not work. -If different, combinations that work. -AGP and PCI.
