The true facts of this may be a bit
garbled as I was hearing it @ the Radio
while traveling w/ the family- The gist
is:

So it's my understanding that the sheep
meadow of NYC Central park was closed
this weekend in order that Disney et al
shoot a commercial- for which NYC was
reimbursed
$ 100K over a period of 3 yrs
which must breakdown to something like $
0.20/hr per peon/hr kept off the grass &

a few parent of the year kudos for 3 or
4 elected personages.

I recall a project that went in the
dumper behind a Wesley Snipes movie in
mid-town as
deliveries became impossible.
