I once knew a carpenter that on a Saturday, in front of his 10 yr old son, was
drinking a beer and subsequently ran his whole hand through the blade on his
table saw. Somehow the doctors wired all his fingers back on. He did not have
insurance and was back at work the following week. I cannot offer any further
information other than to say that he frequented the Cobblestone Inn, a quite
rowdy establishment that was slowly falling into the creek behind, and along
with his brothers seemed always to be stewed both on and off the worksite.
