Have only been a subscriber for a short time and haven't had much luck
     putting in my two-cents worth (technical problems with my cc:mail, I
     think).  Nevertheless, I look forward to opening up my inbox every morning
     to see what you guys have to say.

     As a bureaucrat with all the usual bureaucratic hassles, I really like
     getting a sense of what life is like out in the trenches, or up on the
     scaffolding, or whatever.

     I have forwarded some of the general discussions of preservation questions
     to the other people in my office, because I thought they were really
     interesting.

     I will try to put my oar in more often, but in any case, please do not turn
     my picture to the wall yet.
