Have you read the comic strip Wizard of Id today? It seemed appropriate
for celiac disease. In the strip a doctor is giving a patient a report.

Doctor: "You have the rarest kind of disease in the medical profession."
Patient: "Oh my, what is it?"
Doctor: "It's Cheap."

I guess that's something that those of us with CD can be grateful. Though
we all tend to complain about the cost of gluten free food, but it's still
alot cheaper almost any other kind of medical treatment.

On a more critical note, do you suppose the reason the us medical
establishment shows little interest in CD research is because there is no
money to be made treating celiac disease?
