I think I know the answer, just want to confirm the bad news.
Briefly, I'm getting a message "invalid drive specification" for my
internal hard drives, also my system will only boot from the floppy
drive. I cannot run scnadisk or chkdsk against the drives. My
assumption is the disk controller is gone. Is this true? If so, can I
replace the controller and expect to see my data again. Or am I
really in sad shape and my data is also gone.
