You can disable password logon in a win 9x network setup by right clicking
on network neighborhood, under "Primary Network Logon" select "Microsoft
Family Logon." If it's not available, you will first have to add it as a
network component. All of this is done on the "Network Configuration" tab.
I've done this on my network at home and it works fine, no passwords to enter.
I don't know how this will affect your cable internet service, just
remember what you change so you can put it back if something else is affected.
