I am using a 166mmx chip with an at mother board. My computer has 2 floppy
drives, a cd-rom, a scsi cd-r, a syquest ez135, and an external modem, a
scsi scanner on a differant card , and 2 printers and a snappy video
capture. The 2 printers and the snappy are on a switch box and they work
alright but now i have a Canon MultiPass c3000 multipurpose machine,
fax, printer copier and scanner all in 1 which i want to hook up also. I use
all these items for differant things so I want to keep all.The problem is
the Canon c3000 says to not use a switch box and if i do it does not work
correctly. I need to put in an isa parallel port for the c3000.I have an
open isa slot but need help with what kind of a card i need, such as ieee
compatable, low end printer port, or what. Any help on brands or what to do
will be a big help. I wuold like to get a card that will configure in real
easy as i am not very good at getting this done, irq ect.I was told to get
a plain printer port and use the port i use now for the switch box for the
Canon. I am very confused.
