Hi Guys:
  I am glad that you enjoy oysters - raw or otherwise.  I am not saying
that they can cause intestinal distress - I am saying that some - note I
said some - are infected with a parasite that will *kill* you.  There is
no cure and no way of knowing if it is there or not.  I watched a very
frightening show some years ago about it.  The illness is always fatal.
I don't play Russian Roulette with anything - not even oysters.  I also
don't care whether you eat them or not, I just thought someone might
like to know that there is a chance.  Oops doesn't cover it when you
begin to get sick.
