I recall sitting in on an a meeting w/ my boss [who thought
Ken had the most beautiful eyes] & the facilities manager of
one of the big 3 TV networks [guess that dates the
occurance]. This was also the job where I met Ken & will
attest to Apple stopping an ongoing leak in a February sleet
storm.
Specifically the enduser was unhappy about the performance
of the HVAC and was using it as leverage & justification to
not pay some of the extras.
He stated the analogy of us having provided a car that
lacked the zip to safely pull out into traffic from the
ramp.
My thought were all he specified was "a car"- 4 wheels &
able to pass inspection should fit the definition.
We provided a new Honda & now he was complaining about not
getting a Mercedes-
You want a Mercedes- spec a Mercedes.
