Hi Roberto:
I have had 5 Compaq computers and now have two. The OS that comes
with a Compaq is their *Version* of Windows and the problem as you
explain it, is likely because your client has installed a standard
version of OSR2 which is not going to work right with tweaking.
My suggestion is to locate the Compaq Quick Restore disk that
came with the computers and install that OS on the machines. If
you don't have the disk you can call Compaq and request one and
they will send it free.
Michael
