In my own limited experience with my own addictions, the addiction took on the
form of dissociation from pain, from LIFE, in search for Peace, or Oneness, or
LIVING or SELF, which is really what was sought, but replaced with the
addiction, over and over again...

I know that was expressed with little context, and kind of in a far out way,
so maybe later I'll elaborate...
