Actually, I'm not talking about running a DOS program from within
Windows.  I run DOS programs right from the command prompt before
launching Windows 3.1.  None of the DOS programs fill the screen area on
this computer, although on similar Thinkpads that my colleagues use
running the same programs in DOS, the full screen area is used.
