Kirt brings up a good point.

I had surgery because I felt it was best.  I was not comfortable with
the idea of chemo and radiation because of the side effects.  Since I
can easily become ill from a single aspirin, I felt that taking chemo
would be as good as signing a death warrant for me.

So I went the conventional way as far as surgery ... I wanted the cancer
removed as far as possible!!!
