Would you grant that it is kinda hard to talk with their non-success
stories? ;)

There is no shortage of success stories. What there is a shortage of is
rigorous documentation, third party verification/peer review. There is also
a shortage of non-success stories--which often come to the fore after the
testimonial (even one's own) loses its steam. Your story is exciting, but
it just isn't the same as the statement, "A <particular diet> can cure
cancer".
