I know... This question was just discussed a few days ago, but at that
time I didn't have that particular problem and didn't follow the thread
closely.
I am trying to boot by floppy with a blank hard drive and have a CDROM to
install Win95. I have both IDE CDROM and SCCI CD-Writer. Both are
recognized by BIOS but neither available in DOS. I have the same lines in
config.sys and autoexec.bat that I had when running DOS6.22.
Could the person who had the problem let me know what the solution was
finally?
I don't want to re-hash anything on list so you can send personally if
desired.
BTW, the system is ATX Pentium II with 2 IDE hard drives, IDE CDROM, SCSI
Zip Drive and HP CD Writer, 128 Megs Memory.
TIA
