My only real appreciation for Pizza Hut is that in HS several of us used to go
there for eating contests. Volume and convenience. One of the last innocent
places I ever drove to in a car -- after that it was a quick downhill
adventure into sin and depravity, then many more years of working it off.

My grandfather, the master finish carpenter, was most pleased when he got gift
certificates to McDonalds for Christmas. He was not concerned at all about
preserving their architecture, he was desperate that he did not have to suffer
Grandmother's terrible cooking.
