I'm interested in what you have to say, Gerry. But I must admit, those
are some pretty big statements! Have you anything to back these
statements up at all? I too, have read quite a bit against animal
products...However, I find myself to benefit from the raw (whole)
eggs...
--Dr. David Scott, perhaps THE Guru of Natural Hygiene worldwide, does
prescribe raw egg yolk for the rare person whose cholesterol is too low. (At
one time mine was, and after all my conditioning re: animal products, I was
repulsed at the thought, though I had gobbled them in the past before I 're-
educated' myself. Fortunately my cholesterol came up to acceptable levels and
I didn't have to consume them.)
May I ask what type of diet you consume? Raw/cooked, and also, are you
vegan? By your statements here and previously, I am assuming that you're
a vegan, or close to it...
--Yes, I am a vegan.
I once consumed all raw for over a year and rid myself of life-threatening
diseases once I learned how to fine tune, but because I had trouble gaining
weight and getting past the zombie state (due to the severity of my past
health problems) I started consuming grains. Got addicted to cooked food
again.
I've since returned to the all raw several times but succumb easily. I can
resist anything but temptation;-)
I try not to be too hard on myself (or anyone else: a sure sign of toxicity.)
For the record, I do become a much more centered, wiser and more understanding
and tolerant person when I stick to the all raw, especially if there are a lot
of calming greens in my diet. Not easy to do, however. Fruit is so easy and so
tempting.
FWIW:
gerry
--ps, and if one is going to eat meat it would be much better to consume it
raw (as long as it's "safe"), the same with milk. And raw fish used to be one
of my all-time favorites.
