All I am saying is that in the agreement to exchange labor and skills,
for compensation between employer and employee, compensation varies.
For my daughter the art student, compensation is dollars and valuable
experience, for me its a little more complex. For me it includes things
like health insurance, decent tools, reasonable hotels when traveling
and yes, even training. I'm not forcing my employer to hire me, but I
sure as hell expect him to compete...after all, he makes me compete!
And this is the best labor market us Boomers have ever seen!
